According to the Chesterfield County Police Department, officers responded just after 3:30 p.m. to the 3600 block of West Hundred Road following a crash report. Investigators discovered that a Dodge Caliber traveling eastbound crossed the center line, directly striking a motorcycle head-on.

The motorcyclist, identified as 29-year-old Christopher D. Harding, Jr., sustained critical injuries and was immediately transported to a nearby hospital.
